Big Problem at Work! Please Help!?

This is classic sexual harrassment at the workplace. A few days ago my manager cornered me into his office and tried to kiss and grope me. I was so scared and shocked, I didn’t know what to do so I let him and then I told him that I was ready to forget all of this ever happened and considered this to be an "accident." I don’t want to turn this into a big deal or get either of us in trouble or fired.

Now the problem is : it is so awkward everytime I see him and I see him everyday at work. I still want to give him a second chance to redeem himself but everytime I see him I get nauseous and sick to my stomach. Please help .. what should I do??
I am so scared to report this because he threatened that he knew where I live.

How long are you willing to wait for an apology and redemption? Because I don’t think he’s sorry. I don’t think that he believes he’s done anything wrong. I truly believe in forgiveness, but a person has to want to be forgiven. He hasn’t tried to earn your forgiveness and he’ll probably try to corner you in his office again once he thinks it’s safe to do so.

You’re a liability to him. You have a secret that could get him fired. He’s either going to grope again or try to fire YOU before you can rat him out to his boss. For your safety and your career at that company, you need to tell his boss what’s up.

you shoulda ratted him out as soon as this happened. Hes sick, theres no excuse. Either push it aside or tell someone. To be honest, i wouldnt tell anyone now because a) you have no proof, and b) he could deny it and say you let him do it. I would talk to him about it and see if he seems sorry about what he did, see if you can work it out. If not do some undercover recording, get a hidden wire or somthing and record him talking about the event, or set up a camera and try and catch him in the act. Hope justice is served!

You need to go to your Human Resources and report this immediately! It’s a form of rape at the very least! Tell them what happened and what you did and why you felt you had to do it! If you are fired or punished in any way there are thousands of lawyers just waiting to take your call! Any form of sexual harassment can not be tolerated in any way shape or form! Hopefully the person you talk to in HR will be a woman. As a matter of fact I wouldn’t talk to anyone but a woman. Remember no one should ever be afraid to go to work, be made to feel fear. That’s what you’re feeling when you say you feel sick to your stomach. DO IT ASAP!!

File a complaint with the human rights commission.
Mail me if you want to, but what he did was illegal.

How long ago did this happen? A few days…. He needs to be reported right away!!! If they ask why you didn’t come forward, tell them you were scared.

What if he goes further than groping with the next person? Don’t worry about him getting fired, that’s what he deserves! He should not have a management position with that behavior!!

Tonight you e-mail your EEOC office, tell them you need a meeting with them first thing Monday morning because you need to report a case of sexual harassment in the work place. What he’s doing is illegal and he knows it. You tell them that this has you so stressed that just the sight of the man makes you physically ill. Infact, go to your doctor Monday morning too. The more documentation you have the better off you’ll be.

Do not let your company make you out to look like the villan here either. Alot of companies do that….also illegal! Stand your ground and don’t budge, not even an inch for any of them!!! FILE THOSE CHARGES!!!!
