In a personal injury claim, how much would loss of consortium be worth per year of loss?

by admin on May 27, 2010

Due to anothers wrong doing my husand of 2 days was falsely arrested . We had no honeymoon, spent almost 18 months with no physical contact cuz he was locked up behind glass while we fought his case. He has since been locked up another 2 1/2yrs as well. We have uncovered evidence of his innocence that the alleged victim lied and caused him to be arrested falsley and perjured in court. The local police/DAs didnt perform a proper investigation. We are suing for physical, emotional, mental damages and wonder what amount the loss of consortium would be worth???????????

Do an internet search and find out how much an escort service would charge you per night, for a man who matches your requirements. The calculate how many nights you have been without your husband. Multiply to get the answer. Be ready to cite your sources and figures.

That would be a reasonable amount to sue for, as far as the loss of consortium goes. For the other part, squeeze ’em for what you can.

ok 18 months is probably worth about $350,000 the other 2 and 1/2 years is worth 2 million easy and the emotion distress not to mention time out of his life will run another million, i would go for about 4 million and if you get the right lawyer you’ll get it, because that kind of time is clearly a hell of a lot more then just an inconvinece.
